Corredor Danza Valparaíso is an association of women creators, performers, cultural managers and educators from the city of Valparaíso who lead this regional platform that promotes dance and movement arts through the circulation of content inside and outside the country.

Who we are

«Corredor Danza Valparaíso» is a gender-focused cooperative that brings together interdisciplinary knowledge to create, train, and promote contemporary dance. We advocate for fair labor practices, foster collective well-being, and promote democratized access to dance. We work in collaboration with communities and the cultural sector, connecting cultures and strengthening the cultural economy from Valparaíso.

Is a dance solo inspired by the thriller genre, portraying a woman trapped between real and fictional thoughts, creating imaginary friends and enemies. The piece reflects on female anxiety caused by loneliness and isolation.

A solo performance that embarks on an interdisciplinary journey through dance, music, and visual arts to reclaim the territory of Valparaíso and its native Chango people, ravaged by genocide, the industrialization of the coast, and the erasure of their worldview.
